Overview
Dog Sitter App lets owners quickly book pre-vetted sitters, schedule services with an integrated calendar, and receive real-time updates — all in one intuitive mobile experience.
The Challenge
Dog owners struggled with fragmented booking experiences — vetting sitters across multiple platforms, handling payments outside the app, and receiving little to no visibility once a service began. The anxiety of leaving a pet with a stranger, combined with scattered communication, created real friction.
The goal was to consolidate the entire dog care workflow — discovery, booking, payment, and live updates — into a single, trustworthy mobile experience.

Key Features
Smart Booking Calendar
Owners can schedule walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays in a few taps — with availability shown in real time so there's no back-and-forth.
Verified Sitter Profiles
Every sitter displays a Verified badge alongside ratings and detailed profiles, giving owners confidence before they commit.
Secure In-App Payments
End-to-end payment processing within the app removes the need for cash or third-party transfers, keeping the transaction simple and safe.
Live Updates & Tracking
Real-time photo updates or GPS tracking let owners follow along during a service — reducing anxiety and building trust with the sitter.
Direct Messaging
In-app messaging keeps all communication in one place, so owners and sitters can coordinate without swapping personal contact details.

Outcome
“Focused UX design can make routine pet care both reliable and stress-free — by eliminating uncertainty at every step of the booking and service experience.”
